A refreshed home for "The Crying Bride"

I am so pleased that my latest flash fiction piece found a home on the revamped website of The Argyle Literary Magazine. As the magazine's editor-in-chief David Estringel wrote of the refresh, "The Argyle is over the moon to be back with our new, AMAZING Issue No. 4. For our 're-launch' issue, we have more poetry, fiction, CNF, and digital art than in past issues. Plus, the submissions for Theme 02: “The B-52s Ultimate Party Playlist” and Theme 03: “Vice” will blow you away."
Issue No. 4 has quite an impressive list of contributors, and I am honored to be among them. I was especially gratified that — in a literary world where you often wait months to hear from an editor — I got an email congratulating me on my piece's acceptance the day after I submitted it. As with most of my stories, the germ of the idea came from a real memory, this one of a bride bawling piteously on her wedding day. "The Crying Bride" has her own reasons for tears, and I grew to love both characters so much that I may revisit them in a longer piece.
